About The VanMar Inc.

The VanMar Inc. was the initial vision of Marion Parks. Her years of experience within the industry ignited her desire to establish a program of higher standards in order to improve the lives of the individual we supported. Marion served as the Quality intellectual Disability Professional for Westview Medical and Rehabilitation services from 2001 - 2009. Her tenure as a nursing coordinator spanned from 1992 - 2008. She maintains high standards and provides exceptional care and management of the health and well-being of individuals residing in her care. Marion collaborated her vision with several people and eventually partnered with both Ms. Mitchell and Mr. Woodruff.

Ms. Mitchell has served as a Vocational Program Supervisor, Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional, Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, and House Manager. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that spans over a 20 career. Her exceptional skills and professional character makes Ms. Mitchell an excellent member of the VanMar team. She is an advocate for Person Center support and respects the concerns of family members.  

Mr. Woodruff currently serves as the Director of Human Resources within United States Army National Guard. He serves as the the primary staff advisor to the Commanding General on all matters pertaining to manpower and human resources management. As such, he not only develops and administers rules and procedures adapted from policies prescribed by the National Guard Bureau, the Office of Personnel Management, Department of the Army & Air Force, but he also oversee a Federal budget associated with the Army National Guard Youth Challenge Academy, which equates to over two million dollars.
